Greencore has been rapidly growing its convenience foods business in the US over the last few years, following its first acquisition there in 2008. Two more acquisitions were completed in 2012 and the business now has 6 manufacturing facilities based across the 5 states of Massachusetts, Virginia, Illinois, Florida and Utah.  
 
Its primary business in the US is the manufacture and distribution of sandwiches and other food to go products to convenience store and food service outlets across the East Coast of the US and beyond.
